Nice work, the paint looks a spot on result for the std gm finish colour.
started my back bumper today,
bought some high build primer
went over the whole thing with panel wipe then flatted it with 800's to key the surface
then applied plastic primer

Give it a week to dry properly and most of it'll come back once the thinners have evaporated.
does it have thinners in it already? straight out of the tin? as i spoke to me cousin who is a painter by trade said that you dont mix it up, use it straight out of the tin? so i did, so i havent put extra thinners in
yep, spray cans have the thinners mixed in inside, thats why you need to shake them up to get an even coverage.
i didnt use spray cans, bought a tin of it and used my gun/compressor:thumb:
Nice paint stand,Lol.
Ye, high build does take a fair while dry.
Out a gun fills the texture fine, so i've been told.
How much was the primer?
Ahh, I thought you had. It will have gone on nice and thick then, give it a few days to dry off and go at it with the 800 again before putting color on;)Quote:

Works out miles cheaper than buying rattle cans.
