Mine are unpaid also. **** that if your due a break take it.
no time, my work load is unreal I do around 5 to 8 jobs a day on average each will take around 30/50 mins to finish some can double that and the I also have to do around 1000 miles worth of driving a week to get around to all the jobs, and that's not 1000 miles of up and down the motorway that all around the midlands and beyond! for example it took me 2 and a half hours to travel 60 miles today :/ and the c+nts want even in
Fook that for a living, handy notice in about an hour into that game for me
well that's the thing I didn't mind when I was getting paid for it, money was really good tbf but I was always told to stick it and stay with them it will get better...it feels like its getting worse still doing the same work and now im getting less money. **** me I was training people for them and getting nothing extra for it not long back..
unless a manager gets back to me with some good news its time to review the cv and start looking about again
Was gonna say, isn't an unpaid lunchbreak pretty much standard fare? Our T&Cs here take into account an unpaid lunch (i.e. 37 hour week) but our annual salary is broken down to an hourly rate as if you had an hour lunch every day (i.e. salary / 52 / 42)
Annoyed me today - people buying/selling houses. Namely sellers who are mugwumps and other buyers who jump in and out of the process like they're playing hopscotch. And estate agents too.
Might just go buy a new car instead. lol
One place where I was clocked in/out they had an enforced 60 mins lunch that you couldn't edit... So come lunch time I'd stop or leave site for 60 mins, even walking out of meetings that didn't have food included lol My T's and C's said I have an unpaid hour, they get an unpaid hour from me. Suffice to say I left there ASAP lol
Sure where I am now takes into account an hours lunch but its not clocked and everything is flexible.
Doing my survival training and going offshore was the best thing I've ever done. 2 weeks on 2 weeks off every month on full pay. Fair enough I'm on 24hr call while out there but not like I have anything else to do lol. Only downsides for me are been away from my family and friends, the helicopter trips to and from the rigs and having to travel up and down from Scotland constantly. Other than that it's great. Not to mention they massively over pay you lol.
^ Take it you fly from dyce Aberdeen?
