knob head with my steels is saying there isn't a tracking number etc, but goes on to say he talked to the courier ( dunno how with out a order or tracking number :roll:) and they said they definitely carded the house and i must have chucked it away with my junk mail (twice really :****er:, he is now demanding i pay another 10 quid to have them sent out again, I'm just going to raise a complaint with paypal tomorrow to get my money back

Renewed my pads and disks all round on the Mondeo, only to discover that I do indeed have a knackered rear bearing. So much play and noise! lol
My brakes were pretty knackered anyway, so despite initial guesswork, I had convinced myself that it was the rear pads trailing on. Nope!
I didn't even want to drive it the four miles home lol. It's about to fall apart. A lovely 'scraping' sound present at all speeds, both directions, and changed pitch when introduced to pot holes etc ffs.
I put 1150 miles on the car in two days the other weekend, said noise was with me all the way. lol
don't worry too much. i drove back from germany with a rear bearing grumbling on my 1st nova...
on a rear disc setup, its nigh on impossible for the wheel to fall off. the caliper holds it all on
I've had knackered bearings before, but this one's a winner for me. As for driving back from Germany, I have put at least 2.5K miles on the car since the noise started. lolQuote:

Van breaking, Car breaking and both costing me a small fortune, so decide to cheer myself up and fired up the Nova started no probs so ended on a high.
Rounded brake line nuts! Final part of 4 hours work, so fuming!!!
Best part is they were sprayed with underseal, underseal that was applied by a main dealer in September!!!!

My missus dosnt drive which is 1 less car for me to maintain but i dont keep any parts or any of my tools in the house and im the only 1 with a key to my garage but if i need to clean up some car bits soon as she goes shopping i get them in the dishwasher whaile shes out
The heater motor going tits up in my fabia as its freezing up here,then trawling the scrappy to find another one and getting more freezing & wet in the process.

Got a massive chip in the top corner of my screen this morning, stupid Audi, was overtaking him on the dual carriageway leaving hull, he floored it and cut out in front of me (was only a 1.9 TDi) couldn't pull away from me and wouldn't move over, I let off at about 80, and went to move over and SMASH, massive stone flew out from his offside rear wheel, saw it coming straight for the middle of my screen, braked and changed lanes quickly, still caught it right in the top corner of the drivers side of my screen (the original top tint one too I might add) I wanted to :cry:
