The bolt should "clamp" the bracket to the mount hole to stop it moving anywhere, so it should be 'reet.
Quite a few others have had to do it too with solid mounts :)
Looking good Ian
Looks minted mate! :)
that will look the nuts whe its finished lol
I have had it bolted up without modifying or spacing any mounts, but there was so much stress from the rear gearbox mount that it was pushing the front gearbox mount right forward, and the drivers side front engine mount had pulled the rubber bush through in turn pulling the bolt head over so I couldn't get a spanner on to tighten it and had to use a pry bar... I just wasn't happy with the engine stressing all the mounts as to me if there under stress before anything is able to move then they can't do there job when there meant too.Quote:

Also won a set of R1 trumpets for the carbs off Ebay the other day, so other than waiting for my backing plate for the air filter to be made up I have everything I need for the carb setup
Nice job on the wheels
Not much to show, but thought I'd put some pics up anyway.
Test fitted the carbs onto the manifold and on the engine, Using the R1 fittings/Rubbers and my new R1 trumpets. Think they look mega in the bay! :D
Bit touch and go as whether the bonnet will fit on with the air filter on, but will just fit a scoop if not, but tbh, will probably fit one anyway!
Heres the pics
