Why does your alternator earth strap go inside the car?
what profile tyres do you run? 40s? im hating my 45s now.
What 45 do you have Bruce? Are you thinking about changing them? I'm in need if a set of 45s
Just be sure to give it stick not too far from home if you've gotta push the thing back! That said I'd be surprised if it did throw another inner CV. BTW Ben if you're forever sick of CV gaiter leakage, use long but thin cable ties two wide per boot end; they sit in the groove well & you won't have to use those jubilees.
Any chance of a shot of the drive shaft looking from inside the bay through the chassis leg?
Oh so are you all poly bushed now?
Cheers dude.
Where does it normally go? I can't remember.
As Joff said tho, Cause my battery is in the boot, everything is grounded in the scuttle to the std ground point. Just beefed up.
Power is there too.
That's the plan, Alt pulley is rubbing at the mo. Gonna fix that tonight, then i can the test lap around here thats nice and close if i break anything. But it has tight and long right and left handers.. So it's perfect to test. I'm hoping it will be ok now...
THe gm jublieeclips slip in the gap on the boot nicely.. Sit well and hold on quite tight, haven't lose on since going to jublieeclips..
I'll get a pic tonight of the shaft in the bay, wont be great as it's hard to see. I have polly bushed tie bars and lower arm bushes on lower from RD.. I'll fit as soon as they come thru.
I run 45s, after some one said 40s can give a hard ride. But when i need tyres i might try 40s out.
I love my Toyos, the Yokie A359 and nice too, but no where as good grip.
Every side wall is different, i had loads of wheel over the years, Toyo and Yokie both have flat thin ones. Perfect for low cars.. Like so...
