making good progress mate, engine bay is looking good

Was down at the Nova today for a wee while to put my time in before I went for my new front tyres for the other Nova

Got the car moved into the middle (As my mates Nova SR shell is now sold)
Got it up in the air as well and all wheels and front suspension/brakes etc off:

Dug out my spare back axel and got it ready for the shot-blasters; GSi rear ARB with 2 bushes:

No idea when they'll be going to the blasters - Might try and get them down tomorrow then get the bootlid and 2 doors off the shell ready for the replacements to be fitted

It's always a nice touch, cleaning and painting all the flakey rusty bits and just makes the car feel so much 'fresher'.

I know mate, I'm thinking to myself 'Why am I bothering as it won't be seen'

True but I bet if you didn't clean it and paint it you'd say

'sh*t, I'm such a n0b, should've cleaned up all those bits when I had 'em off the car'

Aye that's true mate lol Never going to be perfect or a 100% show car

It's going to be driven *abused* and dirty etc etc

Either way mate, when it comes to cleaning it, fresh stuff always cleans up better than old rusty shizzle ;)
