True. Getting someone sacked can make you feel bad, but if you saw something, then you should tell them.

Strange this, lots of people currently looking to move for what ever reason.

I'm caught between 2 currently, have a lot of respect for one of my customers and don't really want to leave him in the **** with some fairly big projects coming up in London, however, I've lost a fair amount of cash through lack of Overtime over the past year, part of which makes me get to the stage I'm at now, looking around to see what is out there.

If your customers appreciate what you do, but know the company is poo, they will get over it and still accept you when your paths cross again. I had similar with my last job in that I went out of my way to make the best of a bad situation for my customers but they knew the shortcomings of the company, I'm still friends with the guys in the various places so all good.

I'm looking for a new job, while I'm paid well, I'm bored silly and only being used at about 10% of my capacity. This does my head in and I also feel its a massive waste for the employer. I've mentioned it many times and nothing happens... pesky large companies.

I have had a few discussions with the said customer to which he has sort of approached me, however its all dependant on him getting funding depends on my next move. I'd be happy with getting out of the office, which is where most of the issues are with directors all getting too hot under the collar, taking it out on others.
about a year ago I was running at 110%, over worked but happy with the pay, now I'm scratching around for work plus they have no long term plan for me so I think my minds made up, its just finding the right job to go to after spending 16 years here!

got a new works van and its a ****ty Vauxhall combo :yuck:

Lad that's had my nova 5 months for paint that I've been very patient with put a picture up on facebook and there it was in the background looking the same as it did 4 months ago in a corner. Anyway long story short I blew my top and told him 13th March it's either finished or coming home on a flat bed with me in bits and I'm not paying him.

I would have just turned up with trailer without notice.loaded up and gone.
far too many people let bodyshops take the piss on here.
