Cheers folks :)
Well done keith car does look stunning nice looking trophy too:cool: .
Had the Nova down with Steven last night for a quick power run, to check fueling etc.
I havent messed with the boost pressure since getting the turbo back, so it's set at the standard position.
We did one run, please ignore the "blip" at the start, Overboost kicked in really strong so he hesitated before planting it again lol.

BHP/Torque with Boost pressue in bar

As you'll see, its running very very well, fueling is perfect, and it's made a superb figure for 0.8bar.
I'll be back early next year to play with the actuator.
Keith
260brake, 292lbs.. Nice.
Just read back through this thread about the problems you had with the doors and actually going to germany yourself for some. Thats proper commitment, you get big respect from me mate you deserve a gold medal !
Thanks - some say i'm just insane lol
Damn good results Keith :)
:thumb: great figures:)
Thats too much power in a FWD car!
Cracking result matee.
Noice! Good wallop of torque there.

See you all next year!!
Bet thats a nice feeling seeing that when you open the garage! So no more use till next year now?
Would drive me crazy not being able to drive it..
atleast when you bring it out next year it will give you the same rush as when you first finished the build. hopefully be able to see it in the flesh sometime.
Keith not sure if its been said already, but cant storing it with the bonnet up twist the bonnet out of align? unless you are using gas struts?
MOT and Tax ran out, no point paying to Tax it over the winter as it will see very little use.Quote:

How much was the carcoon Kieth just out of interest?
If you dont mind me asking.
www.carcoon.co.uk
It's a size 3 which is about £380 delivered.
There's a cheaper american brand on ebay which is about £280, but it doesnt have a trickle charger.
No too cheap then but well worth it, nice to see you're looking after it well, not that i expected any less lol
tbh in the grand scheme of the build cost its about the same as a set of tyres!
Oh yeah for how much the build must of cost its a small price to keep the car clean, dry and out of the elements over the winter months
Fair enough mate! escort cosworth bonnet must have abit more weight on it, as i had to twist mine back after i left the bonnet on the stay for a yearlolQuote:
