Shouldnt crack at all if done right. Remember that my engine bay is fully plated first, as its the only way to do it.

But it is just normal filler, with a flexi fiber glass underneath.

Benn, i've seen somewhere, where the filler is mixed with the fibreglass when wet to make it slightly flexible when dry, does this work?

Not really, makes it a bit strong and easier to sand.

Better to usde the black fimberglass i have, as its a flexible stuff they use on marine and things.

It adzorbs the movement when stuff explanes and such so normaly stops the filler from cracking.
