Just found this thread, and read it start to finish, Fantastic build and fantastic work on doing everything. You've done agreat job, Love the small touches, like the boot pop, seat retrim, and boot and door builds.

Congratulations on your feature mate it looked ace, i wasnt all too keen on loons before but after seeing robs (novafusion69) arden blue four door XE and yours, im converted its truly stunning, really well thought out and put together absolutely spot on bud.
I hope you can sit back and see your car the way everyone else does, as with your own car you always just see the niggly annoying bits that most people miss but i cant see anything amiss with yours its perfection on four very sexy looking wheels:thumb:

It said in the feature that it was bought from swindon.
Can you remember were abouts in swindon it came from as i was keeping an eye on one for ages that was near to the crown pub just of swindon road and was the same blue.
Just wondered if it was the same car as one day i went pass and it had gone.
Good feature tho mate and hopefully see you at some shows next year.

awesome build - just finished reading this start to finish and on the first page I thought that you couldn't improve the car that much as it was already great - that said, you have done an unbelievable job - my hat goes off to you!!

Cheers very much. I have been keeping an eye out for a Chevette:thumb:.

wow, my first boyfreind had a chevette - he drove it into the back of a lotus elite that he was admiring.....
I'd love a HS/HSR chevette but they go for silly money now....
