What cams are fitted in that engine?
Id go straight to the fusebox for a ign live, in the battery tray.

Schrick apparently.
What does a switched live look like from the fuse box?
Was well pi**ed orf last night, bought overpriced brake fluid on way home, got in..... Its my Mums birthday BBQ says the mrs.. FFS! So spent all evening wishing I was finishing & bleeding my brakes!
If you look behind the fusebox, youll see some black wires which feed into it, which are then split across 2 fuses on one side, and then seperate wires will come from the other side of the fuses. Take the feed from the side where theres one cable and the splitter (you'll see what I mean when you look at it)
Think I understand....
as confirmed by JRE (john reed engines) they are schrick fast road cams think it was 256 degree... basicly the same spec my piper fast road cams were on my old small block xe...
Make sure the wire you cut into is up to the job, current wise.
i'm pretty sure its only to switch a relay so its not going to draw bugger all tbh...
About to do it shortly. Hacked a few feet of loom from a Vectra in a scrapyard this morning, to donate wiring. Got some conduit from a few cars aswell to tidy the eng bay with.Quote:

Hoping to get lots done this weekend... we'll see.
