Good stuff mate, will look forward to the update
Cheers dude.
Do you not need to add another ridge to the pipe to help stop it sliding off?
I would be nice, and i will get one added, but for the mo it will do.
So Started Sunday off with a bit of re-polishing... My metal part of the water pipe had become really dull

Got my rad out, cleaned up and ready to fit.

Rad fitted, polished jubilee clips fitted (thanks to Old Man Jimbo perfect again.)

Found the rad switch was leaking, so took it out, cleaned it, polished the brass bit, refitted with some sealant on it.

Big thanks to Dan for his help, as we struggled like funk to get the air inlet pipe on. Pissed about with the mount and everything, very stressful, but got there in the end. Left it there...( i put the wheel back on and took it off the jack and stands)

Today, i rolled it out side for the first time in ages.. Started filling it with water, then stopped and did a few jubilees up tighter, then re-filled with water.

Then it was chipping time. Now some of you know, i'm a collector/horder. So i putted out my spare ecu. This was fitted with Evo5 chips.

Pulled them out. Clearly cheap copies that are now for sale...lol

Next was time to start it, decided to start it with the old ecu in, adjust the fuel pressure and then swap to the other ecu. Primed the engine till the oil pressure came up. Then started aafter getting fuel in.
Then stopped as the fuel rail was leaking. Found the end plate was lose. Wouldn't seal. (this one just one i found and used as it was polished) So Dan set to stripping it down so we could swap it to the rail i had on the car before strip down.. All changed over we tried again.
Running, checking fuel pressure... Dan had a nice fuel pressure tester.. So we checked that which is 100% right to my gauge on the fpr.

Happy that's right.... Gauge is bag on. Vid is while running.

Let warm up while checking other things. Here's where a few probs start.
With the PH2 chipped ecu on, the ecu light stays on. Giving a code of 69 (air temp sensor) Which we believe is build in to the AFM?...
Plus the idle isn't that smooth...
See my other thread here...

Time was test drive time..
Boosts much better, quicker and smoother. With no smoke what so ever. Both very good. Over boosts to about 15psi (hard to watch while driving) holds 13psi... Lights the wheels up in 3rd to where it's hard to hold on when you really nail it.
Had a small prob that the throttle stuck open, felt very notichy too. But didn't stick open again. Pulled over to check everthing out and the car was reving like this by it's self...

Again no idea why.. Refitted the standard ecu and it runs perfectly....
Back in the garage now, i need to do a few jobs, fit the front bumper and grille too, plus the plug and top hat cover.
Oh took this vid too, just cause it sounds cool.

Big huge thanks to Dan for all his help.
Looking good, have you tried the ph2 chips in the standard ecu?? The other ecu may have a fault.
No, as i dont wanna mess with that one. It's an unopened one so i know its all good.
