Mine was leaking, so i needed another anyway. So i thought buy it now and dont have to think about it again. Looks pretty too..lol
Just e-mailed about something else.
Do you know if they make the parts inhouse or are they just a distributor?
I think its done in house, as when i ordered the rad i asked about the fan push mounting things (got my twin fans from him) and he said then he boxes it up he'll put a packet of them in there for me. But that's only what i think..
OK Cheers
I will wait for there reply.
Was just looking at the Ally XE water pipe they do.
As i run no heater matrix they are piped together, so wondered if they could manufacture one without these two outlets.
Hopefully they will reply tomorrow
Ah good plan. One of the only things i haven't got of his..lol
The way its going, it'll be in the garage more than mine!Quote:

any pics of the arm rest fitted?
also does it fit well? does it have to be moved if you want to lift the seats forward to get in the back?
Thank you very much, the arm rest doesn't fit at all, If it was bolted as it is to the tunnel its way to low, if i raise it to elbow hight then its really tight between the seat bolsters.. I'm gonna look in to it again, but i think the changes might be low on using it. So don't buy one till i work it out..lolQuote:

Needs a good clean, but has some up well...

yh that's what I thought, if it was at elbow height it would be very tight and didn't think you would be able to lift the seats. bet it would look nice with your interior.Quote:

No? It is, ready to fit all shiney.

I had it polished, there's a pic a page or so back with it unpolished.
Benn my friend, you are crazy... but I like it!

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...rontpanel4.jpg

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...rontpanel3.jpg

Wanna get it all painted to moz, thinking of pulling my sump off as its still leaking from the front edge...
It seems you're not using any / enough gas when welding there Benn.
Gas will give you the penetration you want.
You're getting the right idea now mate - cut away metal and save on weight ;)
Just wait until you put all that metal tube work back in to yours it will weight double lolQuote:

what rust treatment is that benn ?
Yeah? There was very little gas in it, but my welding i just cant get any of the setting on it to work right, it just spits and done funk all. Dans welder (one that broke) welds really nicely and i can get a good beading going. Might have to buy a new cheapish one.Quote:

Rattle can job? Did it come out ok?
Hope you have as much fun with sump as I did today, fookin nasty job and you always spill some oil no matter what you do.
Yes, i got painted mixed by the place that supply the paint to the bodyshop so as they mixed the paint the did the whole car (and any other times its been painted) the match is perfect (its not cheap tho) With some soft masking you cant see it. Altho the lacquers not as shiney, but you'll hardly see it when the rads back in.
Its a hate full job, i try to use the jack to hole things in place so i have both hands free.. Sadly this will be the 3rd time doing it  :mad:Quote:

My XE leaks really bad as well but i'm not as bothered about that. Self changing oil system on the daily is fine.
I did see you said that in your thread, when i had the lump out i fitted it with a tiny bit of rtv, then it leaked a bit. So did it again in the car and put rtv all round. Now it leaks worse..lol
Gonna check how flat the sump is with my nice new steel rule.
Its a pain in the ****, remember years ago just going to nip the bolts up a bit tighter to see if that cured it and snapped the corner right off a sump.
I'm using the ecotec gasket and from removing it today it looked to have sealed all round as it was totally dry on the mating faces so i'm baffled.
