Always wanted something on the boot to break it up a little, but wouldnt fit a 'ring sticker unless the car had been round.
Did 4 laps in this car now, and about 10-11 laps of the F1 GP circuit, so I think it deserves it!

At least you've been around and it's not a lie. ;) How did you get on with it then?
I've been 5 times to the ring now!
Was awesome, had a track session on the F1 GP Circuit too, annoying lots of powerful expensive cars :)
Keith
I like it! i didnt you had been round the ring in her.. good goin, bet that was fun:) ill be there one day:roll: lol
I'd never fit a sticker unless i'd been :)
if youve been to the ring in it then, by all means you should put a sticker on the car keith.
i think it looks well, but do what you think looks good mate:thumb:
Absolutely love the car Keith and good news it came back in one piece, Ive got ask though how come your washer bottle has a rusty screw where the second pump should go? I was curious at Billing but didn't see you to introduce myself
I wanted a shiney screw, but rust is lighter than metal so the screw is a cunning weight saving plan.
Lucky boy, was she good around the ring then?
I wasn't pickin holes in perfection just had to ask, do you want me to keep my eye out for a smaller saloon one?
I got 4 laps in, 2 in busy traffic and two when it was fairly calm. All went fairly well, had some issues with a c.v. joint though so didnt drive too fast.Quote:

Nice! Take it the gp bits shorter?
Nope, I like the larger one. I use the car quite a bit and the larger capacity comes in handy.Quote:

Ah cool, i have no clue on F1 as its boring.
Glad to hear its getting abuse to mate. REALLY want to do the ring myself at some point, just need a car to do it in! lol
F1 circuit looks good, whats the price to go on that one mate?
Glad it all when quite well, car looked ace at billing.
Scott
GP Circuit was 30 euro for a 20 minute track session. Its only open roughly 12 dates in a year though, so its very hard to get on it!

Excellent mate! all the cars look great. :)
Loving that last photo. Goooooo on Keeeeeith, that's what I'd say if I was there. lol
Cheers - doesnt look great now though, i've the entire front end stripped and the turbo off, decided to just get it recon'd now rather than later!
Good to see it getting used as you intended Keith! Looks awesome!
Whats up with the turbo Keith? Is it smoking? TBH its a nightmare sorting out KKK's as exhaust wheels are hard to find that are not worn.
Yeah Rick, started smoking if I let it Idle for around 1 minute, I'm sorting out some other bits and bobs so just doing it all at the same time. I'd upgrade the turbo but have no space with the rad/cooler.
Keith
Pics on FB look great Keith. I had no idea Rob's Mini was finished either, it looks fab.
Bugger on the turbo.
Sending the turbo away tomorrow, should only take a few days, meanwhile i'll give the bay a good clean/polish/wax as the ring trip has left it mingin!
That's where i stayed when i went to the ring in June 'The dorint' hotel, the one in the background on the last pic:thumb:
Good pics Keith:d
Got the glue yet?
Posted the turbo yesterday, got a call today to see it's now fixed, new seals kit etc and it's on it's way back, hopefully it'll be back tomorrow/friday and i'll have it all sorted at the weekend.
Keith
Who did you use Keith? What did it cost if you don't mind me asking?

Well, turbo arrived back on friday, and i've got it re-fitted. I also refitted all the joins on my exhaust and have changed all the clips on the boost pipes to much stronger ones.
