you getting it mapped at northants motorsport again??
Good to see it was only the clutch shagged :)
hell no, definately not - not after the c0ck up they made with my white nova.
will either be Noble again (who made a cracking job) who are 1 hour away, or Track & Road, which is reknown to be the DB's, but its a 3 hour drive away in Rainham, Essex! :(
PMSL at copper slip comment ;)
FYI use a 1/2 inch extension bar to allign clutches, or a old input shaft from a fooked gearbox (something I strangely have a few of no thanks to someones engine LOL)
Not sure I'd bother with new lifters tbh, yours are hardly noisy and the cams don't needthem.
Save your money for mapping :)
Oh dear, tempting the law of sod again are we lol
JB - nice tip, I don't happen to have any spare input shafts, altho I will try and get hold of one lol i won't bother with lifters then, its just something that the Kent instructions said when I was reading up on them
Lee - WTF is the 'law of sod' lol ?
I know they do say in the destructions to use them but IMO I wouldn't bother.
1/2 extension bar works just as well mate as it sits through the clutch and into the crank.
As you say - mine are quiet as a moooooooose anyway :)
Just need to get them in and new timing kit on, and then we're away :thumb:
Did you get any assembly lube with them ?
The cams that is, not the mechano dildo kit LOL ;)
Its the thing that makes stuff go wrong when one books trackdays before carrying out major surgery on ones engine lolQuote:
