Booked it in for mid week - so we'll see what goes - I have no horn button, so hopefully I'll be in the car when he asks me to press it, so i can just touch the two wires together lol
Other than that, for some unbeknown reason, I washed and polished it the other day, paying particulary attention to doors, under sides, shuts, and gaps... very odd
Skies were nice so I took a pic... booooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring

Door shuts polished... wtf olly?! (pic number 1000 in my thread, yay!)

Shuts are very clean.. Why have you taped the drill holes up?
Should pass mot easily. LOL @ the horn though lol
Fit a cheap maplin push to make button..... Cost about 3quid
It should MOT fine fella see you at combe.
Cheers lads, its on Wednesday so I'll let you know if it goes through OK lol
Awaits "missing rear seats, missing rear seat restraints" advisories lol
Benn - what you mean taped up drill holes? where abouts?
put it on your trailer if it fails as my mot ran out in oct 06:thumb:
if you lived close i could have done you an MOT LOL

Passed MOT, no advisories... straaaaaaaight through
Nice one :)
Do they not have anything to say about it not having back seats ?
MOT's dont look for actual things in a car, they check whatever's there is legal.Quote:

What did you do with the horn situation?
Vaughan - see what Lee said, he's correct for once
Adam - I went to local motorist centre, travelled back 8 years in time, looked at all the chavvy buttons, bought a brushed stainless horn button about the size of a 5p, for £4.99, and wired it up, and positioned it in the standard location for what used to be the manual choke
So - do we talk 'Combe Convoy' in here? PS: MSN
Would if you were online you massive poofter lolQuote:

lol Cheers mate wasn't too sure - Iain was speaking to me on MSN about it
Kind of cleared it up for me, cheers :)
Aye, buying a button was the best idea for the horn.
My msn was fooked sorry, will be on later though :)
So, the Nova passed the yearly nasty exam with no warnings, which is good news...
Now on with more spending.
Yesterday, I collected 6x full race slicks that I bought from eBay
I now have 6x Michelin Radial S9B, 19/57-15 which will be going on my newly acquired silver Cesaros.
I'm pretty much all set for Combe, obviously these won't be coming with me as Action Days don't allow full slicks, but they're there for when I next do Donny and Rockingham.
Just need to use the last half a tank of laughing gas I have, so I can remove the kit prior to Combe, so thats going to be done tomorrow.
Olly, a bit off topic but never the less id like to say a big thankyou for the help you gave me on the PAS rack and pipes etc on the 206 today(Sat).I really do appreciate it and owe you one for it too.Cheers buddy!
