if you are fitting a flip up screen too i thought they had the functions of a stereo included.
they do brian but i dont want to have to lean over etc to change cd, plus the dvd will only be used for dvds when parked up lol
its now fitted btw.. with a small adjustment lol :thumb:
make sure your parked up as the screen shines through the back window like a 40" tv and you dont want the law sniffing about.
well, put the glovebox in today, put it in and though "i wonder if it would work upside down better?" so ripepd it out, and just attached the lid..
afew hours later and a saw ehad from nutting the dashboard 6 TIMES! it was in :D

came and collected it the same day, was quite clean except for a huge dent on the drivers door-1/4, he had a wee look round mine, thought the digi dash was awsome, and the 5 words that made my day.."bloody minter that!, absoloute minter!"
thats it folks lol :thumb:

fare play for putting in the time Dave but thats not to my taste plus far to easy to be taken from there imho.
Not wanting sound horrible but i had one taken in the past and its not nice when you get to your car and all your hard worl has gone missing if you know what i mean.
chris..
true but its not cost me much anyway lol
also im goign to attempt to make some sort of fibreglass and filler mould so that it can sit where the original mk2 stereo sits, something that brings it forward abit if you get me :thumb:
did you get my pm mate.
didnt flash up haha, ill read it now :thumb:
Sounds good to me mate, either space it out in the factory slot or top of the dsh in the build you have done
that top bits flaking to fook and it means choppign the dash vents up, which i dont really want to doQuote:

i thought that aswell.
He has done all this work and no fag lighter yet.
All he has to do is get one from a breakers (even the hole astra set up then just fit to his.
The wires are there and already wired up as just about to fit one into the track car for if i do any shows in it.
This way i can plug the sat nav in.
ont know as of yet, as i quite like the smooth blank plate thats there
i might mount one behind the dash or mount it in the side of the centre console somewhere :thumb:
looks so much nicer now. the glovebox idea was never going to work, with that, the door speakers and gear knob it seemed to me you were very bored and wanted to try new things. the problem you have is the car is near perfect and doesnt give you much else to do.
keep it clean and have the best nova out there for a new driver (dont think you've past your test have you? sorry if you have, i didnt want to read through 168 repetative pictures of the same thing Lol).
in the meantime work on that red thing you bought lol
just sat and read this all the way thru... bloody mintifull keep it up :)
even ive not done that lolQuote:
