Definitley worse discount and worse tool choice. Hardly anything kept in stock anymore either. :( Still, better that nowt.
The last thing I remember getting for a decent price were own brand wiper blades and 5L of 5W30 semi synth for around £24. Recently though I asked for a price on a pair of mirror glasses for my mk3 Escort. I was pleasently surprised to see the own brand self adhesive lenses still on the shelf tbh. (Does anyone buy this stuff anymore? lol)
They were £12 each (much more than eBay) and when I checked the book, mine had to be ordered in. Trade discount? Zero. :/

Double stone chip acquired on the way home from work today (from one stone). Saw the stone coming from miles away too, but as I was on the inside lane doing 70mph it was unavoidable.

My back to back at work doing **** all again today, leaving me all the difficult bits on the job, getting ****ing sick of it
Got a call today from my son's afterschool club lady, "is Nicholas coming to club today" she says, "Yes" i said "only i cant find him" she says! Not to worry she says, I'll go find him in the school.
I rang her back and got her voicemail, I'm starting to panic now...the she rings me back to say, "we've" found him" I'm like, sweet not problem.
When i get home, my wife tells me that my soms class was kept back after school and was let out late, when he was finally let out, the teacher lets him run off without checking that the afterschool club collector was still in the playground. my son checks the playground and cant see anyone so he walks out the school gates and walks on his own!!!! half a mile to the afterschool club. When he gets there the lady in there saw him waving but didn't realise he was on his own and trying to get in, so ignores him, my sons now gets spotted by a neighbour crying and asks why he isn't with the rest of the club? The rest of the club was still at school looking for him.
How the hell can a primary school just let him out late without checking the adult is still there to collect him. The afterschool club left the playground to go all the way round to the front of the school to ask reception where he was, because the school won't let them through the playground side.
I'm bloody fuming,
Major complaint needs to made, that should never happen!

mine today was delivering some bricks to a 'private address' only to find it was actually a pikey camp........... thank god my wagon has no sign writing or details on it....
the only plus from the visit was that i recognised the builder doing the work.... and i've always hated him with a passion from my many years of groundworks, i genuinely despise incompetence & bullsh!t ... his name is richard, and as we've always said...
