I brought the front mount conversion off Chris. I am currentley in the process of 'improving' it. I gather it worked fine etc though on his car which was track orientated.Quote:

John-How far away from the chassis leg is your bottom pully? Did you just have the outer V machined off, leaving the middle parts and the outer v, like so:

Yep that's exactly how i've done mine ad, i've heard some horror stories about folks who've actually machined through the rubber mount, (well the whole lot really) reducing it's width/strength.
It clears the chassis leg fine ad, prob 10mm or so to spare? Mind you i did have some engine mount alignment issues though, so you may find a little less.
