whats pissed you off today?

Driving a 200 mile round trip to collect some wheels I had bought on Ebay to find them only fit for scrap! Cost me £30 in fuel and a morning wasted for sod all, tosser!

I asked if there were any marks or damage and if they had been refurbed, he said they were not refurbed and were in excellent condition apart from a 20mm mark on one wheel which was hardly noticeable. Well the mark turned out to be a 3" long chunk taken out the rim after someone had used the wheel as a brake against a kerb stone. Every wheel had clearly been refurbed as all the paint was peeling off and each one had corrosion appearing all over them.

Cock!

One good thing was getting a genuine rear quarter for a good price on the way back from a totally honest seller and nice chap, made today slightly less painfull.

Fixed my laptop and it's died a week later

Thinking the battery was flat in my expensive rechargeable LED hand lamp, buying a new battery and waiting 2 weeks for it to find it might not be the battery :(

My ps3 deciding to give up whilst I was enjoying a few hours of gt5. After a little research looks like it has ylod and is cheaper to buy another than have repaired!

ive got a swivel head rechargble hand lamp you can have for cheap :)

Thanks TJ but got plenty of other lamps, just this one was one of my best ones. Got it from BMW before I left. It is on charge now so may be OK yet, we'll see

thanks mate, I'm truly gutted he passed quickly so atless he didnt suffer to much, never got to tell him how much he helped me out but i will tell his 2 boys at the funeral :(


he had a long good life, every time i use to see him he would ask how i was getting on with my car, use to bore him for ages talking about it lol

Like i said in the other thread when you mentioned it mate, youve got awesome memories of him and proper love there, hang onto that and try not to dwell on the upset, and finish your car to a relaly good standard in homage to him, or he will haunt you lol

Another annoyance for ebay here, outbid on some genuine antibes pinstripes for the nova, musing to myself whilst bidding that it was probably mr Robinson that i was bidding against, then realising that it actually will have been and having to let them go, message on fb and it turns out yes it was him, [shakes fist] damn you Keith [shakes fist]

Ring Sony up and they'll be able to send you an exchange unit (160GB) for £100ish

Then get on You tube and look at how you can get yours to power up and back everything you can up onto an external hard drive.

Hi Keif and thanks for that however Im unsure If Sony would want to know as I didnt buy the unit new so have no receipts/warranty and so on.

I couldn't remember where I bought mine, plus my warranty ran out in 2009. I replaced mine no problems, they also told me to look on You Tube to find a fix to power it up and not worry about the warranty sticker.

Let them decide if they can help you, which i'm sure they would.

+1 for hatred toward Ebay.
They have change the layout once again and it is sh*t.

It's always changing. Never for the better. I just use it as a lot resort now. For both buying and selling.

You just fill out the application, and provide a payslip showing that you are in t'trade. Careful with their seam sealer too. That brush on crap in the red and white (iirc) tin is nowt to write home about!

i dont work in the trade, so was trying to buy one but the tarts wouldnt do it, apprantly there kept in a safe :tard: and halfords are clamping down on them being given out

Well you definitley can't buy a trade card. I know you work for BG, that may be enough. All you have to do is show them that you need and use their tools. That, or have a mate who works there. lol

That seam sealer cracks. Upol stuff should be decent though, so I may be wrong and it's actually the Halfords branded stuff I was thinking of. Either way, just FYI.
