I have only 1 criticism with the car Keith - change the number plate at the rear so its stuck on so there are no screw holes ;)
Absolute perfection - Nice to see you take it out in the rain as well
I thought you'd have it hidden away for no-one to see when the weather went a bit bad

just after reading this whole thread from start to finish, took me a week!!  ,
it is unbelieveable work, best project thread i've read!! great attention to detail!!, really inspiring, +rep :thumb: :thumb:
Lovely, nice job keith, looks superb, a real credit to you buddy :thumb:
Cheers everyone!
I've the ECU out now, going to fit the phase chips.
Have to remove the fuel rail to fit my 3.5bar FPR and then just swap over the spark plugs.
I want to do it's first oil change, i've run it in on Mineral. Anyone recommend the best oil for a LET?
Most people will be using 10/40w semi synth vaux stuff
gets my vote as well, good oil and great value for money as well.Quote:

Edit, didnt even read the answers above, lol
That looks as though its got the nod seeing as us 3 know what were talking about lol
What about fully Synthetic? Any pro's/con's to using that?
fully synthetic is too thin really and due to not being good idea to mix it with normal if your out and about and need some quicklycan be a bit iffy!
But in all honesty its not needed on an engine like that.
Paul-£20 for 5 litres!!! What happened to th £20 for 4 gallons deal?
I've put motul 5w-40 racing oil in mine, maybe ott, but for the sake of £70 every 12months worth it to me :thumb:

With an engine spec like yours i would want to change oil more often than every 12 months!
Better off with cheaper oil changes more often than one expensive once a year.
Depends how many miles the car does a year, mine only does about 2.5k :pQuote:

thats fantastic keith, the pro photos really show the quality in the paint.
also, im not usually one for the wee details but i really like the yellow stay housing on the bonnet, looks very modern!
