cheers mate. fitted the new crank sensor, and the ferkin battery is flat. grrr, waiting for our lass to get in so i can use the celica to jump it.

gb, no. jack, no worries, theres a 91 carlton at the scrappy, thats deffo not immob, so the ecu and stuff will be usefull. :d
What code is the ECU? Sounds daft, but you sure you have the right one? Although I guess it would still send roughly the right signal... maybe... or perhaps not. lol
its a gn code, i got it with the motor and was told it was removed from a running cav.

well, i got a nice ecu from a h reg carlton, and a fuel pump relay too. fitted em, whacked the half flat battery on for a giggle, and suprise suprise....
it fukking lives!!!! ok, it wont rev, so i think the timing is 1 tooth out, but it runs.

Sloth, how'd you get the engine clean enough to paint it? Also, what wheels is it gonna be wearing? I've just nearly finished my Corsa B project as well, few little things to sort and thats it.
easy, i used thinners mate, as it evaporates off. then use a dry brush to brush any leftover muck off. its going on 17 inch white 5 spokes, pic is on page 2 or 3 or 15 inch steelies for the strip.
Lenzos? Na mate, they really wont work regardless of the et49, I've had Lenzos on mine, had to take them off. **** it, I'm running Comps on mine, 6.5x15 with et49 and 205 tyres and the rears catch under acceleration. lol
hmmm. theyre et49, and they have narrow section 205/40/17's. i ran em on my nova fine. i may roll/trim the arches though. if i can get a mint set, astra sport steelies would be great, its finding the ****s...
I've a set of Anthracite ones here, you could have them if you were closer. lol
Corsa arches are ****e and cant be flattened or widened or even trimmed, all you can do is jack them out, then the plastic arches wont fit right and it'll kink your outer wings.
My advice is 195 15s, black steels FTW!!
