I know what you mean Dave, after a while a nova is just like your first box of lego when you were a kid.
Amount of times I've thought "hmm, that bolt, oh yeah 10mm socket" I'd have to agree lolQuote:

Dave, have you had problems with the VSS? I'm told it runs by picking up the pulses from the ABS rings on the drives?
never messed about with it tbh mate
david
well its about ready to run, should fire tomorrow i think although we still waiting for the intercooler piping to finish it.
We made up some oil cooler pipes and turbo oil feed pipes, thats now all finished too, all wiring and fueling completed, 3" downpipe onto a 3" exhaust system into 2x 2-1/8" back boxes

EPIC, top project :thumb:
You've prob got this in mind already but turbo's obviously give off a hell of a lot of heat, some of the wiring in the pic looks quite close so are you going to shield it?
yeah we've already thought about that one, we have some heat shield from a vectra vxr so we'll make it fit :thumb:
David.
Spot on, thats what i like to hear! "We'll make it fit" :thumb:Quote:

if you had read the thread you would have the answer to your questions and i know you dont know who he is hence why i said do abit of research :s
why does who he is matter. how about the o.p answers the question? not bloody hard is it?
if you knew who he was you wouldnt be asking!!
but he doesnt know, hence the question FFS
the compression is around 10:1.1 and we are using a wideband a/f meter,
we are going to run it at around 5 psi until we can get a chance to check to see the amount of boost we can run until det.
Cheers David
V6's seem to work fine with low boost and NA C/R's..Quote:
