Dam you Greg! that wing would of been ideal for my mk1 lol
Very noice mate :thumb:
iain
was kind of hoping to have it ready for billing but not looking good..
had a problem with getting rear arch repair panels..
ordered them on tuesday along with sills, sills arrived on wednesday but arches are on back order or something..
apparantly the arch's wont be available till march!!!
tried about 6 different places local to me and they all deal with hadrian panels and they all say the same!
i phoned vaughan last night to tell him and he gave me a phone number for a body panel place up his way, gave them a ring this morning and they say the same..
no rear arch repair panels or full qaurters.
i had eventually brought myself to spending a bit more and i was just going to put full qaurters on, but cant get them from hadrian either..
anybody got 2 arch repair panels or 2 full rear qaurters?
or know any other supplier that i could get them from?
cheers
Greg
Greg i mentioned this the other day in my MK1 thread, Beevers has none, told me Mid FEB for rear lips, and end of FEB for front wings etc, and every ware els is totally dry of them too...
I ordered some for it before Christmas, but then the guy at the body shop said he could do with another repair lip's to do the inner skin, we have had to pay a bit more for one off ebay, best get looking QUICK before there all gone on there too...
Best of luck with it dude.
Scott
cheers Scott!
just ordered 2 rear arch repair panels from pbautofactors (ebay)..
should be here midweek..
maybe not such a problem after all!
Pair here if you get stuck - will need them replacing though .
CLICKY
He is selling full quarters if that helps
Connor
although i have ordered arch repair panels i think i am going to fit full rear quarters. will make a better job and save alot of filling!
anyway, i spent last night and most of today preparing the engine bay!
its amazing what hours of elbow grease, rubbing down and a wire wheel does!
i think this looks really tidy imo!

That bay is looking fantastic mate!
+rep for blitzing this!
Cheers..
Glad to hear someone else thinks it looks good.
i have always wanted a clean engine bay after looking through various builds on here..
That bay has come up really nice.
Fair shout for the rapid progress.
Full quarters would be best IMO too, makes a better job of it.
Keep it up.
Edd.
Looking very good mate! Bet you can't wait to get it painted :)

+rep, top work fella that is going to be cracking when done :thumb:
Looks good! Is that a Nova TD fornt panel?
no not that i am aware of matt.. what makes you think that?
i am going to see about collecting a "spit" today so i can turn shell upside down..
looking good mate, glad your getting on with it so quickly and not scared to get stuck in.
iain
cheers..
stuck for things to do really until i get rear qaurters..
may not be an update for a few days..
Awesome work mate, your really going at it :d Are you wanting to have it done for some shows this year?
yes, was planning on having it built for Billing or or later on in the year..
but like i said at the start of the thread, i am not rushing so if it is not done then i wont be bothered..
i want it done "right" so basically it can take aslong as it takes..
LMAO I can't believe this is the Nova that wasn't a "straight forward" restore.
Lovely work Greg, look forward to seeing it at Billing! ;)
WOW That bay look awesome! Great work Greg, keep it up..

Looking amazing :thumb:
excellent work!
Ref the front panel question Matt asked, it has the intake hole for a diesel air inlet. I usualy get them plated up for a more original look
some more progress with the sport..
eventually found myself some rear arch repair panels (after the struggle of trying to find some), when they arrived i went to fit but just as i was sitting them up against the car something made me think, no, dont do it!
so they were put to the side again and i went on the hunt for some full qaurter panels!
i did say i wanted to do this one "right"..
Got myself some Genuine GM quarters!
