Yeah I might actually, I raised the floor 3 inchs to allow me to put tool under it, there hard to get out but sould not really need to use then any way.
No need to make some sort of inlet pipe up for a cone filter + I want to give the bay a getto paint with engine it :thumb:
I think I will have to turn the fuel screw back down now as its going to smoke like **** on boost now, trial spin next saterday I think !
will make it look neater and they wont get snagged on stuff either.
get a silicone hose from roose tomorrow for the filter :thumb: ghetto paintjobs FTW lol grease what ever doesnt want painting and spray away :)

I would but i think it will be dear as the pipe goes from around 30mm inlet to 60 and needs lots of bends, Ive got a bit in mind which should do the job and is free, remember everything is on a budget lol
fair dos. i suppose the red boost pipe just made me think you would join the silicone hose brigade lol

whys the inlet tube need loads of bends and a size change? Can you not just throw a filter on the turbo?

What is ti you have done to the inlet, and why?
that top half is like some sort of air collector/top mounted air filter bollocks and serves no purpose besides heating up the intake scott, so he's chopped it off instead of just leaving the top off of it like most people do.

With me sat in the car there is about 6 inch of rear leg room with my mum in it theres about a foot so its fine for normal height people!

Don't think I have any engine bay pics at the moment but will hopefully be fitting a new starter motor this week and will get some pics done when its back on the road and clean. Has been sat all winter and is a bit grubby all over
Thats my plan, after going through my MOT this weekend I realised the vinyl is probably hiding some rot so that's due to go, and I'll probably respray the bottom half in some bumper paint, it's not my main project really so minimum expenditure needed. lol Although those standard seats have gotta go, back killers :( Would like to go with SRi red seats to minimise the spend and keep the standardish looks, it is SRi exterior after all, but tempted by comfy cruiser style leathers atm... that then means the rest of the interior doesn't match though and then it all starts to snowball into robbing my main project of the best part of £500 lol
lol, Mk2 astra SXi seats are the same but have proper bolsters (so would be perfect for you!)

Even has a little bracketto support it :D
