All the arches have been folded to stop any catching. The MO's are 15" 6J.Quote:

I had MO's on my old Mk2's and they caught on the arch lips on both cars.Quote:

What are your lot's thought's on this? Possibly with some old skool Compomotive Motorsport decals on them...
MO's

Vs. TH's
http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/f...t/cfac1a73.jpg
Mo's, suit it 100%
TH's in Polar White would look good, so theres not as much of a contrast to the car :thumb:
The MO's look mint on it as well mind you
TH's never photoshop on very well, but i think both would suit it..
have both sets lol
Im going to build a sport rep soon, but ill just use a base model mk1 or even a mk2, your SKI looks waaaay to nice to turn into a sport i would leave it as a ski mate, and id go for the TH's if your thinking about it :thumb:
i love this and i would say 100% keep the MO's.
Did a little bit more today. Finished painting the rear inner arches and gave the drums a lick of black...

One of my favourite mk1s, so simple but looks perfect! :thumb:
good work there matt
Nice one mate.
Looks awsome Matt! :thumb:
Inner arches look the snooks as well fella :)
looking good Matt! What rear suspension set up do you have? separate shocks and springs? or coilovers?
^^ avos or gaz..? john, probably those 'shorter' variation..
cracking advert for coilovers this motor is.. its a great 'beat the credit crunch' project thread too, .. who cares about expensive bits of kit when the car looks this great.
I think it wants putting in a mag this..
Its on low rear springs iirc (i.e. not coilovers)
my new wall paper:)Quote:
