Clear front indicators ftw
Totaly loving this thread, the work and thought put into this car is spot on,so nice to see a rep gte instead of a gsi(dont get me wrong on that as i love the gsi reps, but too many of them compared to gte's!)its looking perfectly sweet as it is,imo id be leaving the orange indicators ON the car, and changing the front screen for a top top tint item, also the rest of the glass(green tinted items!).looks superb:D
thankyou, i love gsi's also having had 2 previously, if it had been aa mrk 2 nova then it wouldve been gsi rep but i do like the older look of the mrk 1 and you dont see many gte's about now. i was planning on having the car painted but i really like how the wheels look against the paint! i will fit a new tailgate a proper mrk 1 item with no boot lock handle etc i have some manta mirrors to go on, but its almost as i want now its just the mechanicals that need sorting :thumb:Quote:

I've only one garage, no room, so it sits outside. Not ideal but I cant bare to sell it, so it'll just have to sit there lol

using my mates unit (he is a powerflow dealer) so has agreed to let me use his 2 poster for a week or so to get it welded and painted, and he is a good welder :)
another plus is once the engine is mounted before paint he can fab exhaust for me saves me dragging it back to him oonce i get it running :D
awesome!
just bought a new bottom end with steel rods pistons and arp'd right through
a rebuilt f28 with quaife lsd and f20 speedo ring roll on 350bhp :D
I want a quaiffe for my f28 but not without my budget at the mo and with going rwd next year will be money wasted too.
how much you pay for the box if you don't mind me asking? PM if you wish.
650 for the box whihc was recently rebuilt, quaife diff and f20 speedo drive, :D bargain
certainly was a baragin. £500-600 for the diff alone! Thats why I can't be bottomed to buy one for the sake of a few months.
Excellent, looking forward to seeing progress
You greedy sod! as if one high powered mint mk1 was not enough.. :-D
