A few weeks ago I purchased a 3m x 4m metal shed, while I was awaiting delivery I got some concrete down on a big area of our garden.
The shed arrived and I started to put it together to find that some bits were missing grrr
While I was waiting for the missing parts to arrive I changed my plan which meant I needed more concrete lol
Concrete costs loads, upto now on this project I've spent roughly £585 on the concrete alone!
After the first delivery of concrete the garden looked like this:

The prefab shed was going at the end of the concrete, behind it was going to be a BBQ area.
My plan changed (and costs laods more) and we pulled down that temporary shed you can see in the corner to make way for more concrete.
Now you see shed (last Sunday):

Now you don't lol (Theres Samantha getting rid of some stuck on expanding foam)

Then I made some more shuttering to pour the concrete into (last Wednesday) (crap pic due to phone cam in the dark):

Then came some concrete (last Friday):

Once that had set we started building the shed again and got absolutely soaked when it started pouring down! Quiting was not an option as the shed couldn't be left at the stage we had reached! (Saturday & Sunday)

All finished :)

I now have somewhere to keep my stuff and can finally get on with the car (s).
Before next winter I'm going to build a big workshop on the concrete in front of the shed so that I can work on the car inside there no matter what the weather.
Next updates will be about the car!
sweet i need one of those
Top stuff.
How much are those metal sheds/garages?
£440 delivered - bargain!
Nice :thumb:
Done quite a few bits on the car since getting the shed sorted. First proper day on the car was Sunday, it's gonna be flat out now to get it sorted for PV!
First I took the seats out, I figured that I need to remove the frame that's been put in for the base-mounted Monaco bucket seats. The Cobra Evolution's are side mount and use their own frames, there was no way they would fit with the frame there so it was gonna have to go!
Just after the seats came out:

I also removed all the clocks and switches that were zip-tied to various things.
How many zip-ties!:

Some of you will probably cringe now! I also decided to remove the bar that ran across where the dash would normally be. I want to run a custom dash and this was in the way. I just didn't like it.
Muhahahahhahahahha:

After quite a lot of grinding and hack-sawing I finally had enough room for my seats and a dash! I still need to tidy up the bits where the stuff I cut away was welded:

While I was doing all that Sam was busy DAing the boot. It's previously been brush painted and was quite rough to look at. After some sanding it's much better. It's got some primer on it now and will look much better when we paint the inside. The rest of the inside and the cage still need doing!:

Today the 2 new mk2 wings arrived:

Tonight I stripped the front off the car, I wasn't in the mood for grinding and welding so this was a nice easy job:

The car has been on a farm for the past year or so, the wet mud and lack of cleaning has been taking it's toll!:

After cleaning one side I decided to do a before and after on the other. Before I cleaned the mud out:

And after. To be honest it's not that bad considering it's been caked in wet mud all winter:

Last pic, just before I packed up for the night. I offered up the front end to see how it fits. The pattern wings aren't too bad but will need a little bit of fettling to make them fit properly.

Still can't find any doors so decided to have a go at repairing the current ones.
I vote for leaving the wings unpainted, looks badass.
i have to rub down the cage next I'm told :D
