it smokes like a bitch now and consumes a litre of oil easily on a track day.
I think i will wait till it goes bang, or untill Craig can longer get it through its emissions test. then i may.
but i do really enjoy revving the nuts of it and really pushing the stupid small block, it goes well.
I suspect next year will be the time of change.
Just seems the logical choice tbh!
Its an easy 30bhp and 40lb/ft torque gain over your current engine, and i bet selling your inlet and the 4-2-1 would cover the cost of a xe engine....
Yep correct, i'll easily regain some of the cost selling them parts.
And yes, it is the logical choice, I have resisted 9 years of ownership so far, but like I say the engine is almost getting to end and its either rebuild or change engine time. I certainly aint going to rebuild or replace with another smallblock.
I reckon next year the time will eventually come for small block death.
