didnt like having a cig lighter, especially because it didnt work, so mark (novacabrio) gave me a spare blank he had, smartens up the interior alot now, and it wouldve had this from the factory

its off a honda jazz mate, direct bolt on.. and eyah i should be goin the meet if my dad cand rive it (15 you see lol) :thumb:

that gsi WAS in haydock scrappers, its long gone mate, we raped it and it got crushed within a week after :thumb:

well ihave created a dash pod for a flip out dvd player for where the center vents usually are, its been fibreglassed.. had many skims of filler, and is currently at my work experience work getting sprayed for me :thumb:

will upload pics of it and a step by step guide too.. think its going to look awsome :thumb:

gave it 1 more skim.. and then fileld some pinholes..painted it rover hurricane grey.. and this is the finished result..

you wont see that little uneven bit on the bottom left once the dvd players fitted btw.. :thumb:

think the colour is the closest im going to get.. it does look awsome.. i need to chop the vent pipes at the beck abit and remove a big un-nessecary buldge of cardboard backing on the dash.. doesnt do anything.. its not even part of the dash haha

Good skills, I'd be tempted to paint the rest of the top dash cowling to match though. Maybe give it a matt coat to stop any reflections off the sun too.

nice work dave im impressed mate;) do agree with jack as to painting the rest of the dashcowling etc,matt paint is a very good point as in glare of the sun,headlights etc:thumb:

What you doing about the other hole left behind by your other cd player?

You went up in my book then with the skills on that DVD player thing but then finding out your going to just leave anothr cd player in the other hole has made you drop a level.

I would do something creative with that other hole like get a cd player cage smooth it with filler and fibre glass on inside then use it to store a cd wallet in.
