Amazon giving me a fooking heart attack this morning, couldnt find my wooly hat anywhere so whipped the amazon app out on my phone whilst at work this morning, browsed through their fleece hats and found a nice big animal one....

Clicked commit to buy and it was done, minute later confirmation email, two mins later warning email saying my payment couldnt be processed as there was a problem with my account :wtf: i was like, omg i only just got paid yesterday :eek:

Logged in to check thinking somehow my card had been copied and all my monies were stolened :cry:

Turns out they had tried to take the payment from my old 'expired' card, which is odd as i bought some trainers for work, two months ago and entered my new card details and set it as preferred payment type, bumholes, i proper panicked then lol

Moving house again,full of fury!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheapest place I found was a place in Ilkeston, I think it was called Ilkeston Ply & DIY. Got 11x sheets of 18mm 4'x8' MDF for £100. Slight seconds but not a great deal wrong with them and perfect for what I needed.
His Dad runs a timber yard opposite & he is cheap too, saved me £20 over the same stuff from Harlows.

got to a building site to collect some thermalite blocks(building type thing) for a friend of my brother who bought them off the bay... i'd been warned about a path edging that might need a bit of wood putting against it.... so the edging was there.... and it was set on concrete, and was 450mm above the ground... so my wagon wouldn't go over it without damaging it & my wagon....

the job was rated at £160, and a rough guess put the damage to building materials at £120 and the wagon at £2k if i drove over it, so 2 people needed a bollocking & nobody got any building blocks.

are the thermalite bricks the sharp edged engineering blocks? nasty things to carry about with bare forearms if they the ones im thinking of

no, i think you have described 7N concrete blocks..
thermalite ones are made from power station ash, and are really soft & brittle

ahhhhhhhh like the half sized breeze blocks, you can karate chop them by hand to size lol

sorry to annoy you but how thick is your insulation?? we now have about 11" and it was gratis, and we have had to turn the heating down... so we save money..............................

its a christian thing that the scots actually exported to america.......

we gave away about £5 worth of aldi chocolate eyeballs, and had some great fun joking with the kids.. and my kids were out, so no fighting, and me&mrs watched the addams family movie on film4, not a thrown egg in site.. not a banger up a cat's ar$e, or a frightened granny.. the people who ho halloween put a pumpkin or lamp out, the ones who don't just turn their hall lights off...
