If your beam is already disc then you need Astra MK4 1.8 SXi 4-stud and certain 2.0ltr diesels stuff. Ignore the rear beams, yes corsa B and Tigra A is the same thing. I am on about the very very rare Tigra B's that have 4 stud rear disc setup, the hub pattern is the same as the standard nova pattern so no welding required...But your's is already done, so it doesn't matter.
Ah sorry get ya now. As it's a case of the beam needs welding, imight as well just carry on with what i have tbh. If it could be done with out then i'd build one. But using the 5stud stuff.
The reason I chose this setup was 1. that it is massively lighter than the usual older astra/cav setup used that has inboard handbrake, 2. is that the older stuff is around 260mm and this setup is 240mm.
Most people that running rear disc conversion on the nova complain of overbraking on the rear and having to turn the bias to 90-95% front. I figure (and I might be wrong..lol) that as I will be using smaller discs the problem will be easier to deal with as the brakes would need to work a little harder.
Ah right, i knew the set up was lighter. Over braking can be a/the bad bit yes.
Any updates on this lol
Hhhmmnnn, well, yes I think there might be....lol
Props to Southie for the pictures when he was at 16xe_chris's today..

:thumb: how fast are my hands lol
Just a quick one with your rear brakes, I was running standard sr front brakes/disks on the rear of my rally nova. To ovoid over braking I simply reduced the pad size by half. I didn't have a bias valve and they never locked up no matter how much pain I gave them :thumb:
Wings will be ready very soon
Thanks for the info Chris.:thumb:
Well....movement, out of the garage and over to the spare unit whilst the weather is good and then it's off to Fred's for the final welding..
