Nice neat install mate. Ready for sunday now ?

Nice install, proper tidy
Looking a bit hardcore...
looking good olz.Love the nitrous idea, should be handy at totb.
Good luck for sunday mate
Come on tart - post up your progress!!!!!!!
so, we're officially set for TOTB, gave it a wash (wtf?!) yesterday... Me & Ian managed to wash the paint off the bonnet lol I'm taking it back to wherever I got the dodgy spraying done lol
funniest part was over at James' house, Turbo Gav turned up, he said "hey nice spray job on the bonnet", he then ran his hand down it and continued "yeah, you can cut that up into squares and use it as sand paper" lol
so yesterday was just basically to get tracking redone, load up nova, sort trailer out and wire in shiftlight :)
I got a maximiser if you want it Olly, we won't be til easrly sunday though..
I think JB is bringing one for us to wire up mate - but thanks for the offer mate, really cool of ya.
Sorting the car out this morning and sun was in a cool position, so thought I'd grab a few more to whore the cheating gas

Congrats on the result today Olly. Some fine driving displayed. I have a few pics and vids which I'm uploading at the moment :thumb:
54 seconds dead on the handling circuit!! An excellent achievement to say the front runners were around 49 and substantially more power than yourself.. Well done Olly top skills. :)
Thanks everyone for the nice comments, and even more so those that turned up to support me/ us as 'Team Vauxhall', it has been an awesome day out - a real good experience.
Obviously being a complete Nitrous virgin, I was probably asking alot of dumb questions for those that knew about it, but there is only one way to learn right?
So, I came 2nd place overall in the FWD Handling Group, which I'm over the moon about with a 54.00s run, and the winner did a 53.97s run, a mear 0.03s better. A 450bhp Fiat Coupe who has won for the past 5 years running :( so I didn't do too bad, right?
My 54.00 run was with a 100bhp shot of Nitrous, straight in, no controller.
I took several hundred photos, along with in car footage of all my handling course runs, and 1/4 mile.
I also managed to achieve a 12.8s @ 112mph quarter, which again wasn't too bad considering its on concrete etc.
Despite the hurls of abuse my car got, not one single thing went wrong, and even enabled me to drive half way home just for the crack. No tyre pressure nor suspension was tweaked, it was literally as I took it.
It was awesome meeting all the friendly new faces, too many to name and the most thanks goes to Jonboy for the constant help, advice and encouragement throughout the weekend to get me the results I achieved :)
awesome glad to hear you did so well, your enthusiasm pays off well mate, real pitty you could wipe the floor with .04 sec over the fiat but hey
Well done Olly, look forward to the vids/pics
in my usual style, I'll be doing a seperate TOTB Photo thread, but because this is my build diary, here are a couple of mine in static form.
i am awaiting some pics from NeilShawPhotography of me on the handling circuit, and will post when I have them :)

What a superb weekend ! what a SUPERB result for Olz :)
The car looked savage on the track, nothing compares to a shot of gas and I would imagine you will now agree lol ok it doesn't last forever but youir car was ballistic on the roadtest we done before you left, so much so I nearly crapped myself and had to turn the gas off I was so scared lol
Good to see a few familiar faces there today although I'm a bit dissapointed in myself for not meeting the others who came to give Olly support.
Brilliant weekend again though, camping was great, sorry for stealing a space in your tent Olz but cheers for covering me up when I moaned about being cold at some time this morning lol
Can't wait to see some videos
Oh and also thanks for the kind words about the install, with a bit more time it would of been far tidier but we ran out of time and at the end of the day it just had to work, which it did :)
Not one to waste any time... we have vids lol

You can really notice in that 1/4 vid, just how short your 2nd/3rd/4th gears are too
Thanks for the comments everyone, it seems I shouldn't be so happy with my performance after all, according to Chip lol

Chips commenting on the engines lack of power(compared to other competitors), and not your performance itself?
"And Olly was REALLY driving the **** off his car, I dont care if it was his first time or not, he was pedalling as hard as he could and his car simply didnt have the pace to compete, it needs at least another 50bhp on that circuit to stand a chance!"
I hope it came across on MIG that I was fighting your side Olly. I genuinely think Chip was barking up the wrong tree, saying you need an LET to be competitive
