Just as it looked many years ago (From Total Vauxhall) looks absolutely stunning! Nice to see a Sport that's a wee bit different to the norm
Can't whack it mate, will be nice to see it next year hopefully!

love this engine, old meets new in such a sexual way
Looking good Paul, glad Marks worked out what was wrong with wiring bet you cant wait to get it out.
looking really good
...are these the 118mm long throttle bodies?
and how long are the trumpets?
WOW, very smart guys, glad mark has sorted it all out, and like graeme said i bet you cant wait to get it out on the road.
iain
nice one on sorting the problem
impressive engine spec too
The joys of standalone ECU's. Will be great when back on the road.
Vids of it running PLS??
That looks ace! Top work.
Heres a video from Feb 2003 from the initial mapping session for the fuel map, when the bodies were fitted. (I had been running DTA with the DCOE carbs before).
The weather was terrible with a record ice storm creating havoc on the roads which is why the car looks dirty and never made it home.
It was damaged less than a mile from my house after a 150 mile journey from velos.
I just love the way the bonnet lifts under load.. and the noise, the bodies dont have the rasp associated with the carbs otherwise sound very similar.
From what i remember the car was very driveable and as the video demonstrates you could put your foot down from 1000 rpm and it would pull. I likened it to driving a standard xe nova but without all the weight at the front.
