I picked up all the nitrous bits today, going to order some parts tomorrow so I have everything for when I fit it.
I might have to do the installation one weeknight and set it up at Elvington on the saturday ? I can't see your neighbours being too impressed with us doing static tests at 10pm LOL

WOW this has had some work on it!As stated if you flatted the base down then you should have sprayed more base on and not flatted it before lacuer being added.You might get a better finish and shine if you use some rubbing compound on it to get a deeper shine from the lacuer.

lol just looked at the photos again, they are actually shadows from some trees on the bonnet, we're not that bad at spraying lol

Just doing some tarting before TOTB, managed to paint my tow eyes red which I've wanted to for a while lol, made up my stick on plates, having them both front and rear for less weight, and fronts will leave air holes exposed, and rear, I wouldn't want to drill FG panels, and also gave the front valance a tidy up/ respray prior to fitting front plate...

God this car has seen some changes! I have one word on my mid and it's hardcore! Car is looking awesome olly!
Exhaust box may go black, however the tailpipe is making its own cutout on the bumper everytime I drive it lol meltage!

been offered a fibreglass roof skin, but not sure what is to be gained, and what hassle it'd be fitting it.
i'll probably get some new wheels, which would save me another 7kg... and then I'll get the holesaw out :) :thumb:

Yeah making those sections weak as possible is ideal for when the car takes a smack in the ar$e where the fuel cell will be living.
Oh and also on a FF layout I hear you want as little weight on the back as possible.
Wens the gas gettin fitted Olly? apart from thats are you allset for TOTB?
also will you be going round the curcuit in Speedos for that extra bitof less weight PMSL

Well I have to say I'm feeling a touch rough today LOL, possibly not as bad as Olly does after leaving at 2am but hey ho.
Install is done, had no time for testing though as it was really late and as the night went on my brain stopped working so everything seemed to be worked on 5 times and we didn't seem to be getting anywhere.
There is a few things to sort yet but nothing that can't be done on saturday, the tps box isn't in yet so its on a button controlled by the passenger.
Typically one thing that really got on my tits was trying to get the air filter back over the trumpets, twice I damaged the pipes but then got them routed reasonably well.
I think Olz is happier than I am with it but it'll do what it needs to, possibly after some sleep tonight I'll have a clearer head for finishing it off, or maybe not as we now have Gavs Nova to make look complete lol
