Gathering all my Grandads old coins and sorting through them. He has gathered them over the years but not as a collector. Any valuable ones will be sold if any lol and paid into his account :thumb:
Well there was a drain backing up and flooding a water course, day shift driver turned up early afternoon and took 4 4,000 gallon loads out, I took over at 6pm and continued to pump out, 40mins to load the truck then pop round the corner to tip down a free flowing main drain. By 9pm I had managed to start emptying it quicker then it was filling. Then my boss gets a call saying what I was doing was illegal, and that if I continued they will call the police. So we reported the complaint to Thames water, and I wasted best part of an hour explaining to different departments the situation. Was obviously told to carry on pumping and 40,000 gallons and a few hours later I had got the drain down to the bottom. So at 1am (should've been 00:00 had I been left alone) I switched everything off and had a kip. Kept checking every hour but it didn't start filling again. Day shift took over at 7am and hopefully I got enough volume out last night, so when the peak flow happened at 8am he could keep on top of it.
Makes me laugh, some people just flush the loo and think it just magically disappears... :wtf:
maybe they didnt realise you was dumping it down the right drain?
They couldn't see me, they were just worried about the noise if the pump.
Not getting my pitbike taken off me by the police after getting lost and coming off the green roads oops
wonder how quick they would moan if all there business was left all over the street lol
today for me :d, pulling out my finger and cleaning up all the seams ready to be welded, just got to pull the steering rack of and give around that the once over, my ears are rining because i couldn't find my ear defenders lol
ever heard of dennis nilsen?? he killed 15 young men..he got caught cos he rang up the council & complained about the drains... he'd been flushing body parts down the khazi...........
i also had the job of building a footbridge over a brook that runs thru hinckley's biggest park... and all i can say is that builders really don't check whether a drain is storm or foul on the 70's estate next to the park when they do kitchen extensions... the smell of laundry & washing up water was almost unbearable....
found this in a shop :)
aint seen it for years

having a look at my work email account, and see a email received late last month, a customer phoned up bg and was telling them how helpful and nice i was :d
chuffed as its not really the norm for people to go out of there way like it, unless its to complain lol
i get spam emails too tj........lol
theres a reason they stopped selling vanilla coke...it was fooking vile lol
i would be happier if you found some sunny d that tasted like it use to, the new stuff is horrid
More along the lines of amused as hell, rather than happy.....
Was driving down cleveland st earlier on today in my van, and there is a section that goes to two lanes, one goes straight on and left (lane i was in) and the other turns to the right, im pootling along, and i was aware of a blue rover/mg 25/zr thing behind me, then comes an almighty roar of induction (from said mg/rover 25/zr) it went "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" and made a fook load of noise, but didnt change speed whatsoever, it crawled past me (i was doing bang on 30mph at the time) and limited just as it got by me, only to slow and stop side by side with me when the lights went red, properly amused me as it made the noise like it was flying by at 70mph, and it was sooooo feckin slow!
I looked at the driver who thought he was
And i just gave him a look of lol
Really tickled me :thumb:
lol I saw a Rover 25 a couple of months that sounded very similar. It went past and had a sticker on the bootlid...'youve been Rovertaken'
I'm glad such people exist, they make the rest of us feel better about ourselves
I think it was actually a zr, was lowered, had exhausts either side at the back and tbf looked tidy, was just loud and shockingly slow lol
proberly had to let off as the tempture gauge was rising faster then the speedo
Went for a job interview up in Brizzle today for their local fuzz and think I did ok. Passed all the assessments and waiting to hear how I did in the interview.
Muurder muurder muurder lol
Handing in my notice at work today, roll on the 10th December.
was getting bored of cooking so off to asda i went for the monthly shop (now 120 quid lighter) bought loads of different spices and lambs heart, not a big offal lover, but thats based on my dad and Nan's megaly over cooked liver casserole :yuck:
feeling the love for cooking again now, hopefully have everything in the slow cooker early tomorow to come back from work to a lovely dinner of heart :tard:
lol
Doubletree Italian chicken burgers, mmmmmmmm
it only me and her indoors lol
That's crazy, me and the missus spend £200 a month from Asda... saying that about £100 is on beer lol
i normally pop back and pick up some other bits later in the month but thats the main of it, ive stoped drinking during the week (again) so ive got 1 cupboard filled to the brim with low calorie tonic water aswell lol
i make food strech as well, my mum taught me how to cook on a budget, so a chicken becomes 3 meals the 3rd normally being a nice broth or soup which helps alot and when i make a chilli or curry i will freeze loads
I dont get how people spend so much food shopping, buy whats on offer and put a bit of thought into it...most people buy waaaay more than they need and bin loads
Buying healthy food, eg not ready meals, costs a fcuking fortune :(
Indeed it does,im back at the gym and on a weight loss BS so went shopping today and it cost nearly £20 more than buying pizzas and the like. And i didnt buy any alcohol whatsoever!
I thought I'd sort a leak on my Grandads heating as I was about to leave, ive been decorating his room, clock said 1.30am . Went under the floor to check if there's enough microbore to cut the leaking soldered joint part of and pull more pipe up to reach the valve, done that refilled and bled and no leaks yay.
15" astra sport steel wheels for 50 quid, so thats my road wheels sorted now just got to decide what to do with the trackday wheels, flocking, powdercoat, paint either way they have to stand out
