Engine spec sounds awesome, should really fly next year.
1.2 beast looks tidy but them mk2 bumpers are aweful, sort it out boyo!
They were fre from his track car. but he is in the proccess of getting some more mrk1 bumpers.
Had a lot of questions recently on what exactly my plans are for the track car this winter. well after various discussions with people (mainly Chris Tunnicliffe, whome no matter how hard I tried, wont sell me his engine lol lol lol), i discussed a budget with my business partner after all the work weve been doing this summer, so basically, I have a plan.
Parts order from QED..
One piece hi flow valves
uprated valve springs
Q450 cams
1 pocketed piston (to add to the 3 i still have from my old lump)
A set of solid lifters
A set of steel Rods.
Block I have aquired from Dar will be sent off for a refurb, as well as the crank I got from him as well.
My gasflowed cosscast head which got nailed by the flailing piston can be repaired by a specialist. Basically he can weld the dent up, and then grind and polish it back to new, so ill be using that head.
Coupled to my yellow injectors, Im hoping that setup will give me scope for up to 250bhp, but im aiming for around 230ish with a better torque figure.
Im also hoping to couple that to an SCCR if I can stretch the budget that far. If something comes up second hand on egay ill probably nab it, the only problem with that is you cant choose your ratios.
So basically, thats it, and if I can make it last a season (lol) ill probably dry sump it next winter as well.
Spent today ripping the engine out of the car. My phones playing up though so couldnt get any pics of hole number 2 .
