imo the 1l's are underestimated. i think its a decent little engine. plus all the minters out there are usually 1l's because theyve only ever been used to go to the shops and back lol.
Wait till you get on the road you will realise no matter how much power you got you allways want more lol.Quote:

You dont NEED to wait no, but it makes sense, as the money saved on insurance can be spent on other things.

Nope. Find the 220bhp mark in an 800kilo shell, and youll begin to think more power is just silly! lolQuote:

more in an hour or so :thumb:
Lol mine did exactly the same after the wing had been repaired and indicator replaced.
The bodyshop didn't put it in correctly and therefore broke the bits that hold the light in and lost a nut.
Oh and this then scraped new paint off the lip of the wing under the light.
lol.. unlucky
more piccies..
we spent a good few hours tcutting, polishing and back to blacking the whole car ready for the road

check out the road markings.. lol
No you look like a 14 year old sat in a nova. lol
Car is looking ace.
What am i looking at when you say ''check out the road markings''
erm.. should i be in it when its on the road? DUH! lol
Well no but that wasn't what i was expecting as the answer.
Does look cool :)
very nice mate, love this car lol bet its hard not being able to drive on roads (with exceptions of above tut tut lol)
if you take any more photos, your camera is going to break, lol
Did you use the back to black spray or the gel ?
the gel... its called "auto glym bumper care" bloody good stuff.. brings all the plastic trim out lovely and black/grey.. door handles, skirts, bumpers etc :thumb:
Yeah that's what i use.
For the bumpers it's good but started to notice that when dirt get's on the gel on the skirts it leaves behind some weird stuffon the skirts that has to be scrubbed off everytime i clean the car so i have started to use spray on the skirts just to give um a shine.
i think the auto glym bumepr care is the best stuff around.. it really shwos up your bumeprs. i did the whole car with autoglym polish too.. some of the ebst stuff round :thumb:
next jobs are handbreak cable and front ARB :thumb:
ope you all like the pics :thumb:
my model is nearly done of the nova... must say ade's work is outstanding... cannot fault atall.. will pop some pics up once its here.. really excited about it :thumb:
also the heater isnt blowing hot on the blower, its down to the cable on the back behind the dash.. so thats got to be fixed :(
The clips on the cables (both at the heater end and middle of the cable) have a tendency to break quite easily I've found.Quote:

ahh.. so its just 2 clips from a scrapyard then? saves me afew quid lol
No, the clips are part of the cable. It has a plastic sleeve all down its length - you'll need to get the whole thing.
And you'll find they'll break when you remove them at the scrappy lol Fun fun fun
great lol..... looks like a duck tape job is in order lol
Tape wont work, there under quite a bit of pressure when you use them, tape would just slip.
One of mine snapped when i changed my dash too
