Yeah he's only about 20 mins away, I won't say exactly how much but it should be less than Wyatt's quote too (and his wasn't expensive!). :thumb:

I don't think it's a primer coat, its some thick sandable stuff to remove high and low spots before primer I believe.

Got my diff installed, it was quite difficult finding the point it dragged as it was pulling the rest of the box around. I've set it where there's no play in the bearings and spins freely by hand, so hopefully ok.

What I'm unsure about is whether the bottom spring is correct. This was the only unused one supplied in the Mintex 'fitting kit' I got. The old one used to loop underneath the lug I think?!

It was someone local recommended to me at a MIG meet a little while back. Checked out his work and it looked decent, and he's a sound guy too.

Just fancied chopping them off to see if it saved any weight on the front, and the fact they get very rusty due to dirt being kicked up and held in them. Think it saved half a kg :eek:lol
