I personally think its a cracking build and looks amazing, also think that the little boy who is affraid of the big smoke is very jelous that you have nearly completed the work, when he was to scarred to attempt it, and only held onto the bits he wanted.
Everyone i know of on here has the exact same opinion of the lad, so hold your head high and get it finished greg mate.

Just caught this thread up after being away for Xmas and new year. Andrew confirmed this car as genuine nearly 10 years ago to me! Unfortunately the dealer did fit the sunroof, the receipt for this and guaranty were with the history when Sturge bought her from me. Although it had had a few owners even when I had it the history was excellent with all previous MOTs etc etc.Quote:

This is a top project, you've done a great job with it. Would be a shame to give up on it now and IMO with everything thats been said about the car and all history that is with it sounds genuine to me. Jealousy is a terrible thing!!
i dont think vaughan is jelous, was his car to do what he wanted with, if its been confirmed before then it must be genuine, no wonder he left the site, all the biching and moaning about a car, ifs a gen sport fair enough but if itsnt stick at it, alot of time and effort went into it and be nice to see it completed. just dont see why everyone jumping to conclusions......

NO big updates as such, cant wait to get it in paint though!

What a mission cleaning/rubbing down inside the car..
The floorpan inside will not be 100% but i couldnt bare spending hours and hours getting it immaculate when its just going to get covered by carpet again.
