the guy doesnt drive round with my plates on, he only uses it at shows etc and entering and leaving them. so that plan wont work.
and ye i could ring them up, but i dont see why the police i spoke to couldnt just do that and fax them over, would have been a hell of a lot easier
because the police arent bothered matey
I'd be informing the DVLA then.
ye thats what il be doing
the dvla will take it further!
Bout time dude! Hope you get something done.
a quote from DVLA about plates. this might even help...
With effect from 1st November 2008 it will also be an offence to supply non-compliant plates.
In the eyes of the law it will no longer be acceptable to advise customers that their plates should not be used on the road or are for show or display purposes only. If a plate displays a registration mark issued by DVLA, then it is deemed to be a number plate and must therefore comply with the current standards.
The maximum penalty for an offence will be a fine of up to £2500 and/or suspension from the Register of Number Plate Suppliers for up to 5 years
i cant really grass him up for using it as show plates as my plates have never exactly been the most legal around lol they'd only end up fining me instead
