Where is it?
One of my old time fav's
It's still about and walshy still has it!!
Walshy still had his Golf Rallye as well last time i spoke to him on some VW site a year or so ago.
Was re-doin the Nova he said, but then disappeared for a bit. He was working at VW press office at one point, and then last I heard Mclaren/Mercedes
Yeah last time i spoke to him was last year, Golf was pretty much sorted and on the road and he was planning the same for the nova... He's worked at Kia since Mclaren/Mercedes, Last i heard he as working at Silverstone..
^^ oooh - that was the 'best handling/set up' nova, wasnt it...? for the money like.. remember a tv feature..?
Well, they just used it to show the parts fitted to build a Nova that was 'on rails' to quote the feature.
Walshy is at Kia, Nova is maybe going to make an apperience some time soon ;)
Yours and Walshy's toghether, august 1996!

You sent me a link for another thing completely
Enough spamming Dave!!!
I'm alittle gutted not to see mine on here. I'm really sorry about the quality. This was me back in Sep 1995 fast car with m 1.4 SR just before I fitted the 1.8 sri lump.
This is an emotional tour. I remember nearly all these Nova's, its been 16 years since I owned j250 dyj and now i'm looking for white GTE.
Crap! Can't put photos on yet...

The Old-Skool features from the magazines are much better presented than the modern ones
I really want a set of TSW Hockenheim alloys like on that Red Nova. (not later Hockenheim R's)
Yeah, the Red one was mine, for 15s they looked big. the the Hock 2's only looked good in 17s. My fav wheel. I had 195/50 Michelin tyres on that had massive spread, rubbed on every part of the body.
Does amyone have any pictures of a car with a reg NOV 6M?
Cheers
matt
BLAST FROM THE PAST!
Hi Paul Jackson here, Just popped in to say Hi, just looked through this whole thread and i brought back some good memories superb thanks. Hi to Rexy, Ian Storey? Ste? and some of the old school, can't remember everybody, is Mickey Owens still around?
Anyway i added some more old pics of my old 2.0 8v nova to the "other novas" gallery so hopefully they will find there way up here soon? Nothing stunning but thought you might like a look.
It is actually :PQuote:

Eh up!
Did someone mention dodgy scouser with a shabby red Nova? Could that be me??
It's in the garage now - just had a week off work to rebuild it... new fuel lines, new 'box, few tweaks here and there, sorting the interior. Hope to have it ready for Trax so I can see if the valves really do burst out of the bonnet at the end of Hanger Straight. If I time it right I reckon they'll bounce off the underside of the bridge!
Would upload a photo of how it looks now but don't have a photobucket thing. I'll happily send it on if anyone can upload.
Old school is the new cool, I'm told. Looking forward to more old school stuff at Trax...
