PICS.
If you are eagle eyed you'll spot the plate behind the seam sealer. Its a large plate covering a couple rust spots that were cut out, we figured a large plate would look better than a couple smaller ones. Seeing as the chassis has a multitude of Hockley plates anyway, it looks right at home.

Heres what was lurking in its place before we ground it out & set about re-strengthening the 2 panel skins & plating over.

Pretty ugly I think you'll agree.
The rear edge of the passenger sill where it meets the arch lip had gone pretty crusty too. This turned out way worse than I had banked on & wasnt too impressed when Grant cut it out into a rather large fist sized hole. Nicely patched back up from about 4 separate peices of steel though. The underside was made concaved too, in order to avoid the side skirt fin sitting proud.

Heres the exhaust hanger Grant welded back onto the rear chassis leg. I figured an M10 hardened steel bolt would be stronger than a strip of steel, so the head was ground off to leave a tag for the exhaust rubber to sit against. Almost looks factory!
