Oh no, I am determined to use some on a next project whenever I find the right car. The rest is an insurance policy for the Sport.
i'd love to have taken you up on your offer of a run but the 5 hour drive home kinda spoiled my day lol
you right to keep and aquire the parts, as i said today i'll build this GSI once, if its stolen/destroyed/crashed/damaged then it will not be fixed or replaced, this thread and this build will be its last, i just hope it survies.
You have the parts now, so lets get with the building of the car, when ever your needing a hand dont hesitate to ask, either laying the floor or anything buddy.
iain
If you need a hand shoveling concrete give me a shout, if you need a hand with the car ill stick the kettle on for you lol
any updates
Not at the moment, :(
god i hate this bloody car, its cost me thousands of pounds but yet i still cant scrap the fcuker!
so what im thinking is to cut the centre out of the rear floor section, repair the inner rear wheel arch, brace the rear substructure then repair the other side then fit the boot floor, then replace the rear chassis legs?
any better ideas?
i'd rather start at the rear ( ooh err ) as this would be the hardest section and the most probable to go wrong,
any input is welcome ( apart from reshell comments )
Are you fitting the whole new floor then ?
As you might want to have the rear lower edge of the quarters off to access that area if you are
If I were doing it I'd somehow be thinking of doing the floor, legs and inner aches with the rear panel still on for some support,
DO NOT GIVE IN THO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET IT DONE :d lol
