Lee303 is on a proper pedal box setup by tilton or someone, very basic wiring, aim dash etc.
But also has twin mirrors, roof scoop, larger dia brakes, thicker shafts, heavier box, steel wings, etc etc... ;)

Here a little update for tonight - i haven't got a great deal done due to having to make the dinner for myself and the missus :roll: combined with a general lack of enthusiasm after banging my head right on the corner of the garage door giving me one funk of a head ache! Got my front hub carriers and rear axle sand blasted today i think they came out well for £15 for the lot!

Then i painted the axle in acid etch primer ready for a top coat, i'm leaving the hub carriers as they are until i find out about having them machined out to fit the VW bearings.

Here is a comparison of the nova and cav steering columns. The Cav item is 0.5kgs heavier than the Nova item and should go in quite easily with a little persuasian.

I also made up the basis for the spare wheel well blank, the fold is to go up against the rear panel its made of 2mm thik ali.

I cleaned up the under bulk head area and primed the bare metal, then sealed the seam

Now here is the sh/t bit i found these lurking under the scabs of rust on the O/S sill (i haven't had a good look at the N/S yet as its facing the floor).

As you can see there are some (about 5 in total) very small holes along the sill. Most of the material surrounding the holes has thinned so i will be replacing the O/S sill and probably the N/S also at this rate!
