Benn's on going build

I found it was more my neck that hurt after working under the car, as i found i kept pulling my body up off the floor to put more effort behind the drill/grinder etc..

So 100% resect from me also on that one dude!

Think I'm glad I stuck to black Schtuz.

I can jack up my mk4 astra on the box section and it wouldn't even bend one little bit, just shows how weak Novas are to modern cars lol

Btw, can you not do what paul did and weld a box section on top?

Thank you very much, tbh it gets really funking annoying. Having no room to work and then where you do its still cramp as anything or you kicking something. But i'm hoping it worth doing. I got mine done just cracking on on the weekend, than a few hours each night.

Thank you, i'm not filling it tho. As it will be being jacked up (in the right place) so don't want it damaging anything. Pins and a slide hammer and hammer and dolly will sort it enough.

Your a brave soldier,LMAO at getting stuck,i did that when i was in the "burning" phase of mine (used a hot air gun for some) feck me,it dripped down my sleeve tried shuffling away and cut my head on the beam mounting.Cue a garage full of swear words.

I had the car kinda set right so i could lay my head on my arm, but that ment my arm was held up at the elbow, my arms are killing today.. Perfect to carry exhausts around all day..

The metal car makers used as got so much better, i bet a early (a or b reg) Nova would be alot stronger down there cause of the better steel.

I can box it in yes. If i have to i might well done that, just will be a bit of a delay but needs a must so you never know.

Nasty job but good work :)

Are you going to be able to spray the sealer on with it being on axle stands ?
