I would give it a light hone, and re ring and bearing the bottom end.
Also, why are you putting the head on ebay? Or is it an on going joke?

The bores on the block looked same as when i had the head off my XE couldnt feel any lips on the bores i had a engine specialist i know check them over for me and he said they were fine nothing to worry about.
dont forget in standard form the vaux heads have larger ports so he might get a few ponies toQuote:
