Get some tight angled 90deg ally bends and get them welded onto the cooler outlets so your pipes are starting in the bay??
yea thats what i was planning on doing :thumb:
Almost the same ic i have (yours is a bit higher) i had an "elbow" welded on to mine to clear the F28 mount,
Love the ic hidden behind the bumper, looks perfect!
Love it!
cheers benn :)
i much prefer the hidden ic compared to sticking right out,
Think im going to borrow your idea of having the Chav valve on the intercooler aswell
lol It seems to work well, get a nice tight bend welded on. That's what i wanted but he boxed it off which i know isn't ideal, bit its on and works.
On the drivers side you could have the pipe cut and moved so it points in to the bay and is just above the cross member, then you only need a small pipe from turbo outlet to ic...
im going to wait and see what its all like with the engine in and work out what needs doing then,
At the moment it just looks like i need 2 right angles welded onto the intercooler and all should be alright then
Cool cool. Just watch the rad to turbo.. Mine was a bit too close.
yea looking at mine its going to be close,

Still got to get a fan on the back of the rad aswell :(
You should buy my bumper, better air flow to the intercooler ;)
Actually just buy the IC and boost pipes too lol
