I meant, updraft carbs hidden out of line of sight or something... floating engine syndromeQuote:

MK-The problem with 288s is the big piston calipers need a load of mc travel to operate them, so your brake pedal goes like half down its travel before you get any braking.
Pedal is spot on with my current 284s, you just have to get used to there feel etc before hammering it, because you can lock the wheels up at like 110mph in mine lol
You can adjust the travel though with the nut/pin on the brake transfer bar behind the dash.
Yeah I knew what the issue is with them, thought it was better with the corsa MC though, so my point was if he has a good pedal now with 4 pots it will be well within reach on the corsa MC
Pedal should definitely be better with the corsa setup
I do have 4pots now and the brake feel is really nice, am final happy with it.
So dont really wanna mess about again with it...
Mayhem, dude you need to get him to do a build thread and link me too it, i love his car... A Wilwood MC would loo much better.. But servo less isn't a great feel to them really..
Cracked on today..
Started by sanding off the fiber glass for a smooth mount.

Then gave up as i forgot to bring a block home to get it fully flat, so thought i should crack on with stripping the engine down..
Bottom pulley and alt off, you can see the mess from the oil leak..
