Mine was strong enough just very tricky to remove! I'll dig the pics out later.

Mine was strong enough just very tricky to remove! I'll dig the pics out later.
Here's how I did mine....
Detach bracket from frame...

Chop off brake pedal...

Chop off spindle thingy retained circlip...

Put all back in place and trim up your cut off brake pedal til it fits nice...

Weld in place...

It works fine but when you want to remove the assembly you have to slide it out to the left of the welded piece but because the frame is on a captive bolt to the bulkhead you have to pull it towards you and left and its a bit awkward. You could drill out the bolt to put a normal one in I suppose.
I copied Simps design, works well, but you don't need to bend it about or chop the bolt off you MANIAC, just slot it on the back/side like this:

Can't really see from the pic but have you slotted the bracket where it meets the bulkhead? If so - smart move! Thats why yours is nearly done and mine is way off! lol
Changed pic for a close-up so not to spam Ben's thread lol
The only problem we have Iain is that both of our setups are untested as such but as long as his battery tray area is solid I dont see any problems.
To be fair, James' way was untested too as he got too scared to drive his and sold it I believe?
Craig (green) did about 6k on his corsa pedal set up with no probs
Yer that's correct Simps a bit like your avoidance tactics...cut the **** out of it and leave it that way so you can't drive it. Besides I've got another one and that will probably be finished befor yours lol
Least he started itQuote:
